Why I made this: Starting my day with peace, joy, and gratitude is super important to me, and I hope this mug will bring you to the same place. In this particular piece, the combination of black and red is something that I find interesting. It's a combination that I almost never, ever use - across the entire collection of things on the site right now, you won't find it anywhere else. I can't quite decide if I like it or not to be honest, and my instincts for what I like or don't like are usually really right at the front of my brain. I like it because it makes me think!
Living with this piece: The smooth, satiny clear coat feels really good under the fingers, but the texture of the paint still stands out just a little bit. If you've always wanted to touch the art in a museum, you're really going to love this feature of my work.
