Why I made this: Starting my day with peace, joy, and gratitude is super important to me, and I hope this mug will bring you to the same place. In this particular piece, the pink and white section is one that I like a lot. Those L shapes are one of the first patterns I ever drew in my sketchbook back in 2019 or so, and white over pink is a combination that I enjoy. At first, I would have expected the contrast to be too weak to be satisfying, but it's one I find really pleasing.
Living with this piece: The smooth, satiny clear coat feels really good under the fingers, but the texture of the paint still stands out just a little bit. If you've always wanted to touch the art in a museum, you're really going to love this feature of my work.
