Why I made this: Starting my day with peace, joy, and gratitude is super important to me, and I hope this mug will bring you to the same place.
In this particular piece, the floating green moon is just so fun to me, especially on the magenta background. In my sketchbook where I plan all of these compositions, that space is coded as an "OBO" which stands for "One Big O".
*This piece is slightly discounted because the top line on the green stripe area is a little fuzzy - not as sharp as I would normally like to see. Huge bummer for me because I really like this composition, but sometimes the lines do funny things that I can't control*
Living with this piece: The smooth, satiny clear coat feels really good under the fingers, but the texture of the paint still stands out just a little bit. If you've always wanted to touch the art in a museum, you're really going to love this feature of my work.
