Looking Forward to It Prints

The prints in this series are cut from a large print featuring the face on my 'Looking Forward to It' poster. To make the images, I layered two huge fields of the same image, and then I tilted the black layer a few degrees. The result is a Moire pattern in which the separation between the shapes becomes more and more extreme towards the edges of the image. I may print another version of this idea in the future, but the orientation of the cuts and the placement of each piece will not be repeated.
