In these paintings, I was testing my vinyl's ability to prevent color bleed as it wraps around tight corners, and I was also testing how much my bonding agent might squeeze out underneath the aluminum. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eProcess-wise, I was weighing two options: Paint the aluminum first and then bond it to the wood panel, or bond the aluminum to the panel so that it can be painted in place.
